Vans, Buses, Other essentially comprises the Mercedes-Benz Vans and Daimler Buses business units, our 22.5% equity interest in the European Aeronautic Defence and Space Company (EADS), our 19.9% interest in Chrysler Holding LLC, and our 28.4% interest in Tognum AG.
Mercedes-Benz Vans Four Mercedes-Benz model series: Vito (up to 3.2t) and Viano; Sprinter (2.59 to 5.0t; in the NAFTA region under the brand names Freightliner and Dodge) and Vario (5.99t to 7.5t) as crew buses, panel vans and chassis for various bodies.
Daimler Buses The product range of Daimler Buses, the world’s leading manufacturer of omnibuses above 8 tons with the brands Mercedes-Benz, Setra and Orion, comprises buses for tourist, urban and interurban applications. Full-line product portfolio from minibuses via double-deckers through to articulated buses. The American Orion city bus brand is the globally leading producer of hybrid buses.
